Beer Review - Red Truck Ale

The Beer: Red Truck Ale

If you ever get the chance to enjoy this beer in person at the Red Truck Brewery on East 1st in Vancouver I definitely recommend it. The brewery got its name from the founders first truck, 'Old Weird Harold'. You can see pictures of the original on their website or visit it in person, sitting right outside their patio.

Red Truck has been an iconic craft brewery in Vancouver for many years. It's nice to know that with their success they've stayed true to making great tasting beer for true craft beer lovers. Their traditional ale is made nice and slow coming out of the brite tank with an inviting coppery brown colour. Even with that slow brew process it maintains a nice light hoppy aroma and flavour. It still stays true to an ale so it's not over powering like some, definitely six pack worthy.

This beer makes happy that Red Truck has seen so much success. I know no matter which BCL I visit I'll find a great tasting six pack to enjoy.

Cheers!
