As of now, Leduc and area residents don’t have to travel too far to get their fix of Alberta craft beer, as Leduc Brewing Co. is hosting their grand opening this weekend, Saturday, February 25!
This brand new brewery located right on main street in Leduc features a U-shaped taproom, polished concrete floors and large modern brewing system with an automated canning and labeling line allowing them to produce 200 hectoliters (That’s over 42,000 473ml cans) a month. Summer promises to bring the addition of a warm west-facing deck, perfect for evening beers.
Leduc Brewing Co. currently has 8 beers available on tap including; De La Creme Vanilla Ale, 518 Stout, Sundog Hazy Pale Ale and Snowbird Lager.
The ever-busy Beer Captain, Eric Schrader, has designed a community minded brewery. A place where residents and guests from all over can meet to enjoy well crafted beer from head brewer Dave Holowaty, formerly of Rebellion brewing in Regina and Two dogs/ Macaloney's Island Whisky (Could a distillery be next)?
Leduc Brewing Co. is a must follow brewery for events as they often host a variety of things to do in Leduc s paint nights to pumpkin carving! Kids are also invited to come and enjoy some kid-friendly beverages such as the ever popular float!
