Top places to do a Wine Tasting in Vancouver | Wine Tasting Vancouver

Vancouver is home to some of the best wine tasting experiences in Canada. Whether you're a casual wine drinker or a seasoned connoisseur, there's a wine tasting event for you.

Here are our picks for the top 5 places to go wine tasting in Vancouver:

 Vancouver Wine Tasting

  • Vancouver Urban Winery: The Vancouver Urban Winery is a great place to taste some of the best wines that Vancouver has to offer. The winery is located just outside of downtown Vancouver, and they offer a variety of different wine tastings throughout the week. They also have a beautiful outdoor patio where you can enjoy your wine and take in the stunning views.

  • La Fabrique St-George: La Fabrique St-George is another great place to go wine tasting in Vancouver. The winery is located in the historic Brewery Creek or Olympic Village, and they offer a variety of different wine tastings throughout the week. They also have a beautiful outdoor patio where you can enjoy your wine and take in the stunning people watching.

  • North Vancouver: Garden of Granite. The winery is located in lower lonsdale in the Shipyards Brewery district, and they offer a variety of different wine tastings throughout the week. They also have a beautiful outdoor patio where you can enjoy your wine and take in the stunning views of Vancouver.

  • Country Vines in Richmond. Now this is a fan favourite, they have Goats. That is right, Country Vines has baby goats that you can watch while enjoying a glass of wine, just be sure not to feed them. They are located in Richmond and offer a variety of different wine tastings throughout the week.

  • New Westminster: Pacific Breeze Winery. The Pacific Breeze Winery is located in historic Sapperton district of New Westminster, and they offer a variety of different wine tastings throughout the week. This is a great place to stop to do a tasting and pickup a few bottles when having to visit family in Surrey. It's okay to stop on the way there, do a tasting and show up with a bottle, especially around the holidays. Heck I'd even stop in an Uber.

You have the day? One hour there and one hour back and you can enjoy a little more scenery and a slower pace of life.

  1. Backyard Vineyards in Langley The Backyard Vineyards is located in Langley and they offer a variety of different wine tastings throughout the week. They also have a beautiful outdoor patio where you can enjoy your wine and take in the stunning views of Vancouver. This is my go-to lunch spot for larger groups.
  2. Glass house Winery. Ok Pro-tip, book your lunch early. This is a popular spot and getting a reservation can be tricky. The Glasshouse Winery is located 10 minutes from Backyard on 0 avenue and they offer great wine and a high class tasting room. They also have an amazing lunch menu with a beautiful patio that overlooks the vines. Home of a old Christmas tree farm, this farm is one of my favourites.
  3. Township 7 in Langley is a great place to do a wine tasting. The winery is located in Langley and they offer a variety of different wine tastings throughout the week. They also have a beautiful outdoor patio where you can enjoy your wine and take in the stunning views just outside of Vancouver.

You can do it all solo or check out a tour with Canadian Craft Tours or Vine and Hops.

Bonus: The Cider House in Kittsalano Vancouver 's first cidery! They have a taproom and do growler fills to go. Cider isn't wine, but it is still amazing.

Do you think I missed any great spots? Let me know in the comments below.

Cheers!
