Beach Fire Brewing

Beach Fire Brewing

Beach Fire Brewing Story

Beach fire brewing, Campbell River was founded by Chef Laura Gosnell, Matthew Fox, and Brewer Darrin Finnerty. Located at 594 11th Ave. near Cypress St, the brewery opened to fill the untapped craft beer market in Campbell River; this is the first craft brewery in the region. Beachfire Brewing and Nosh House host people over in the tasting room for a good time, and great craft beer that is served over an eclectic selection of meals.

The three founders were mentored by Cumberland Brewing and Gladstone Brewing, which is why the brewery managed to attain quick success in such a short time.  The tasting room, which has been open since November 2016, is well decorated with a selection of stools and benches distributed around the many harvest tables. The brewery has managed to attract a steady stream of clientele that can be seen crowding the place, particularly on weekends.

Beach Fire Vibe

The brewing company is open for business 6 days a week and it offers its clients a full draught service where people can choose from sleeves or pints. Additionally, aside from serving drinks on tap, their beers can also be enjoyed at home or on the go in one and two-liter growlers that are available for refills and for purchase. Beach Fire Brewing Company also welcomes jug refills from other breweries.

Aside from a guided tour of the facility, the Beach Fire Brewing Company is well spaced, and it has taken steps to ensure that the brewery is also child-friendly. Intent on being a huge part of the local business community, Beach Fire does not have any intentions to distribute their products, which is why it is necessary to arm yourself with a growler or two when you need to go out of town.

Beach Fire Brews

The starting lineup of the amazingly crafted Beach Fire beers includes a stout, a blonde and pale ale. Whether you are new to the craft beer scene or a seasoned veteran, the beers are crafted to precision with the best ingredients in town. The Beach Blonde Ale is flavorful, but light at the same time. It has a hoppy bite and sweetness that can be enjoyed by novice and experienced craft beer enthusiasts. The high Tide Pale Ale is Beach Fire’s version of the West Coast ale. It has a bearable bitterness and a wonderful citrus aroma that pairs perfectly with fish tacos.  On the other hand, the Wheelbender Stout is the brewery’s version of a classic Irish Stout, which is light and easy to drink.
