Kalala Organic Estate Winery

is located on the Upper Bench of beautiful West Kelowna in the Okanagan Valley. Started by Karnail Singh Sidhu and family, Kalala has been producing award-winning wine from top-quality grapes hand-picked from certified organic vineyards across the Okanagan Valley since 2006, officially opening their doors to the public in 2008.

Kalala Organic Estate Winery got its name from the owner, Karnail’s grandparents who told him the story of how the village where he was born came to be. Karnail says Kalala, meaning “Miracle Place," is the symbol of their commitment to harmony with nature, organic viticulture practices, and their wines.

Kalala Wines

Kalala produces light-to-crisp white wines, bold red wines, and has one of the largest portfolios of organic Icewines in British Columbia. Their wines have impressed critics both nationally and internationally. Recent awards include: Gold at the 2014 Chardonnay Du Monde competition in France for their 2012 Chardonnay Icewine, and most recently, announced as one of the “Best Chardonnay’s in the World” for their 2016 Chardonnay Icewine at the 2018 Chardonnay du Monde Competition in France.

The Wine Shop

The Kalala wine shop is located directly within their wine making facility so you will have an authentic tasting experience. Malala owns seventeen planted acres on the Westbank property with breath taking views of Okanagan Lake.
