Beauty and elegance meet here at Blue Grouse Winery.  This beautiful winery was funded by the Ministry of Agriculture, John Harper back in 1977 as an experiment. Over the years the land was bought and sold to a few different families and finally in 2012 you might say the vineyard found its forever home with the Brunner family. The folks at the Blue Grouse Winery care about you…the customer, their focus and philosophy have been “What Really Matter?” for a very long time and they bring that to you with each and every bottle of fine wine they make. Besides simply making delicious wine the Brunner family is also aware and taking care of Mother Nature thanks to their use of locally made products like the quarried stone they used in the remodeling of the main building and the geothermal energy they use to help stop the harm done to nature.

When the Brunner family bought the winery and made themselves a home as well as a place where people can come together and have a wonderful time with each other. The winery offers picnics, group visits, as well as a tasting room for smaller groups. Invite your friends and family to enjoy an afternoon of food, fun, and wine with any of their group visiting packages.

The winery offers a varied selection of wines such as their benchmark estate wines like Ortega, Bacchus, Pinot Gris and Black Muscat just to name a few.
