Postmark Brewing

When Postmark Brewing opened its doors back on June 18, 2014, there was no other craft brewery in Vancouver’s Railtown Settlement building. This same building houses other successful brands such as the Belgard Kitchen, Roaring 20’s Wine Co., and Vancouver Urban Winery.  Although Postmark Brewing occupies a large portion of the space at the Settlement Building, the brewery had been in development for a long time before its doors were opened to the public.

So far, Postmark Brewing has cemented a reputation for itself as a leader in the craft brewery scene, having catered successfully to customers with their amazing beer and a range of new products since its opening.  The beer lineup at Postmark is designed for a session setting. The beers are produced in small quantities with the finest ingredients, which speaks to the brewery’s craft techniques and styles.  For Paramount, it is essential for them to be consistent in terms of quality and innovation because it is what keeps the customers coming back.

Postmark Brewery launched with four beers on tap that included their Raspberry Lemon Zest Hefeweizen, Dry Irish Stout, Red IPA, and Pilsner. Experimental beers that regularly make an appearance on the menu include Ella IPA, which is a type of India Pale Ale that is made using the Australian hop varietal named Ella.  Among some of the new developments that have occurred at the brewery since its opening includes a new approach to canning that is quite colorful and vibrant.  The colorful Rasberry Ale cans, which have become synonymous with Postmark, have made their way into the fridges of many people’s homes, as well as in numerous shelves of many BC retailers.

Whether you want to sit down and enjoy a flight or a growler refill, this amazingly decorated lounge has everything to suit your fancy.  The fact that it is located in close proximity to the Belgard Restaurant means that you can enjoy quality food as you enjoy your craft beer. The Postmark Brewery has managed to attract a steady stream of loyal customers as well as a few awards.

For instance, it took home an award for the Postmark Blonde at the 2016 BC Beer Awards for the Silver North American Blonde Ale Category, as well as a 2016 Gold Medal for the Postmark Stout at the Canadian Brewing Awards.  Postmark Brewery has not only been instrumental in elevating the craft beer market in BC, it has also done a lot to educate the community about high-quality beer and what it should taste like.
