Calgary is home to some of Canada's best craft breweries. Including the 2020 and 2021 Canadian Brewery of the year as voted by the CBAC. With multiple "brewery districts" across the city, be sure to check out the "Barley Belt", Inglewood, the Beltline and the Brewmuda Triangle. The Barley Belt is home to the Establishment, 2021 Canadian Brewery of the Year, and just outside the Belt is our great friends Bow River Brewing. The Beltline is home to numerous creative and tasty venues. Inglewood is home to the Ol' Beautiful while the Brewmuda Triangle houses the 2020 Canadian Brewery of the Year, Common Crown. With more than 40 Breweries in Calgary as of 2022, any craft beer fan would easily see comparison to the Portland, Or and Asheville, N.C. of the north.
The Barley Belt makes for a great day or touring on foot! Uber in, uber out or jump on Calgary beer tour with Canadian Craft Tours. No need to drive, you'll be drinking a bunch of beers.
Looking for those close to downtown breweries, venture no farther than the beltline. All these breweries have food and full kitchens.
Many great breweries north of both Downtown and the river.
It should only take you 1-2 weeks to see all the Calgary Breweries. Ensure to try the BBQ!
