Edmonton Tours FAQ

What venues do you visit? Can I pick my own Breweries?

We like to keep things current and exciting, so we use a rotation of partners. We always aim to take you to the best places in town, however sometimes our preferred partners are too busy during peak days and hours. If you really want to go somewhere specific on a Friday or Saturday night, we recommend making a reservation beforehand.. As such, we will select other locations to ensure that we can get your group a table and that you are delivered the service you deserve.

If this occurs, there is no need to be concerned. We work with a number of fantastic craft businesses to guarantee that your visit is informative, enjoyable, and delectable.

If you have a destination in mind that you would like to visit, please let us know at the time of booking and we will try our best to make it happen.

Is it possible to purchase more drinks on the tour?

Yes, you certainly can. Distillery's tours include a flight at each brewery/bar as part of the package, however producers typically have a wide range of goods that you might like to sample, so feel free to do so. Grab a six pack or bottle and keep it in the vehicle for when we drop you off if you really enjoy one.

How does the Tour work?

You can select the date and time for your Private Tour at any point until 30 minutes before departure. You may also pick up and drop off anywhere within a 10 km radius of the Edmonton Visitor Center (for pick-ups outside the radius, additional fees may apply).

We pick you up at the Edmonton Welcome Centre, 9815 Jasper Ave. After that, we go around town to three amazing locations where you'll get a behind-the-scenes tour and tasting/judging tutorial from one of our partners, as well as two more fantastic businesses.

Should I tip my Driver/ Guide

A 15% auto gratuity is the industry standard for drivers since they are providing a service (driving, entertainment, education and sometimes serving). If they go above and beyond what you expect, you can tip them more afterwards. We can assure you our local guide is knowledgeable, polite and there to make sure you have a great time.* we are not responsible for any Dad jokes the driver might tell.

Can we drink on the shuttle / bus?

No, this is not a party bus. We prioritize safety and education on our tours and ask that you respect that by not showing up already intoxicated. If you find a brewery or beer you like, we're more than happy to put it in the back of the bus for later; however, we do reserve the right to cancel your tour if arrive drunk.

Can we do a private sit-down lunch?

For private groups, we can try to incorporate a meal into the tour for an additional cost if you let us know in advance. Please note that this would extend the length of the tour by 20-30 minutes.

How does the deposit work?

We suggest that you book for how many you know are confirmed, not how many you hope are coming. You can always add more later if we have room.

A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to book a Private Tour, with the outstanding balance automatically charged to the credit cardprovided 10 days prior to the tour.We do not offer refunds for no-shows. We suggest that good practice is to have the group pay the organizer before the time of the deposit (That way if they drop out, the organizer is not out of pocket).

How do we make this extra special?

We're always interested in assisting your organization with a fantastic event; tell us what you had in mind and we'll see what we can do.

Is this a good event for Bachelor and Bachelorette parties?

We book parties of all types, and the only requirement we have is that everyone is soberUpon pick up and that good behaviouris demonstrated at our partner breweries. * If these terms are not met, we reserve the right to end tours.

What if we have less than 10 people, can we still be private?

Tours for other numbers of people can be arranged during the week or on Sundays if private tours are available. If not, then we host small groups as a part of our public tours when possible.
